Annette Kay Saw on the site there are many people with sculptures by Gino Ruggeri. Must be fairly easy to carve alabaster. Do these works have any value? Have a beautiful 13" alabaster Madonna and Child. The mother's robe is green alabaster. Probably from the early to mid 19th century, probably mass produced and sold as singles or sets. It is about l foot high made of some sort of resin or bonded marble. It is imprinted "Made in Italy" on the bottom and has the name "G. Ruggeri" on the back.
