Litigation - By Candace Knapp

Designed through a public art program for the Hillsborough County Florida Court House, Knapp’s “Litigation” sculptures stand high above the jury, depicting the legal process in fanciful detail. Meant to embody the process of legal arguement, “Litigation” shows all sides of a trial, from the initial accustation to the flying paperwork to the final downward stroke of the gavel. This interactive pair, placed in the court’s waiting room, were designed to help relieve the stress of those awaiting their trial.
