Shauna Hill, "SpoonLady" Handcarved Wooden Spoons / Utensils Eureka, CA
"Welcome to my site showing wooden spoons, scoops, and other small items carved by SpoonLady. The wooden spoons and utensils are created from exotic hardwoods from all over the world. These aren't turned out by the thousands -- each item is hand carved and no two are alike. Some of the woods shown on the product pages are oak (red, white and others), cherry, chechen, walnut, gringe, apple, maghogany, manzanita, maple (burled, birds-eye, tiger and quilted), zebrawood, alder, and boxwood. Each item is sanded till it shines and then finished with pure olive oil. Let me know what you think of the products. THANKS " Contact SpoonLady

Tom Metz, "Spoon Maker", Cadiz, Ohio "Accurate to the time, 18th century style of wood carving at its best by Tom Metz, "the spoonmaker". Traditionally made treenware, which is anything made of wood to handle food, using forged tools and cherrywood and sanded smooth with sandstone and hand rubbed with olive oil.. Cleaved from black cherry; the wood is allowed to have its say, the grain turns and the spoon does too. That is the strength of the wood, to follow the directions of the grain. some pieces have irregular shapes because of this. Traditional shapes, functional size." Contact Spoon Maker
